After seeing our latest wedding together posted today on SMP, I got inspired to do an interview with Jenne as I have enjoyed each and every opportunity in working with her. Jenne is warm, passionate, creative and kind to all of her clients and vendors. She brings the upmost professionalism to every job and handles every task with complete confidence and her lovely, calming nature.

So here’s a little of what Jenne passed on to me….

Lauri:  What was your favorite wedding and why?

Jenne:  I don’t have one favorite wedding – I have many.  What makes the wedding is the clients, and their creativity.   For example, the two weddings where you and I have had the chance to play together have been completely different and wonderful – thanks to the client’s unique stamp on their wedding day.  Michele and Dave had a very specific vision that incorporated traditional wedding elements and some fun ideas as well– like the scrapbooking station – a huge hit!  Lindsey and Drew were amazing because Lindsey is a clothing designer.  Her custom rehearsal dinner and wedding gowns were amazing.  I love working with you because you capture those details that make the wedding unique to the couple with character and a special flair.

Lauri: What details get you most excited?

Jenne:  The details that really wow me are when a couple brings something to the table that is uniquely all about them.  As mentioned above, Lindsey brought her fashion design to the wedding with everything from her custom designed gowns to the heirloom lace we used on the cake table.  An April 2009 client of mine wore an heirloom veil that was worn by three previous generations in her family.  My client this past weekend used color as the thread to weave everything together – from invitation to lounge and all events in between.

These weddings and many more will be featured soon on Jenne’s site. Stay tuned…
